What are some things you've done in your life that still bother you or make you feel douchey for doing to this day?

Life Related: I remember when my father was in the hospital and my uncle and grandmother came down to visit a week before he passed away, the night before their flight they went up to his room to watch monday night football with him and I opted not to go. It eats me up all the time because that would have been the last time I saw him as opposed to the day prior. It would have just been another opportunity to see him before he passed away unexpectedly.

My grandpa had a really rare disease that took his ability to walk. One day I was throwing socks at the ceiling fan (probably 5 years old or so...) and he asked me to stop so I didn't tear up the fan....my response "why? you can't get up and stop me."

I've hurt a lot of people in my life and I've done a lot of things I'm not proud of, but I try not too regret anything too much. It's all in the past and I try to learn from it all.

But worst thing I've ever done is probably beating up my younger brother within an inch of his life for some stupid reason that I don't even recall anymore.

Hey dude, if my brother stole a cookie from me I'd have done the same thing.

Really though, just be glad you didn't go that one extra inch.

I lied to my friend in middle school so he would beat up a kid I didn't like.

I used to be tight with all of the girls in my rival high school.
Long story short...
My best friend moved a few miles away, and he was rezoned to that school. He's a good looking guy but very shy and hid away from most people. My friends there kept asking me to hook them up with him, including a lot of girls that I liked. Well, I got sick of it, and I told them in a very convincing manor that he was seriously ***, and that's why he avoids them.

That lie ruined his last 2 years of high school, and eventually our friendship, because he did find out. This was in an era where people weren't openly ***, especially in HS.

My father died of a heart attack when I was 8. He died right after a run.

Right before my pops went on that run he asked me if I wanted to come with him (I usually rode my bike while he jogged it up).

I said no.......... that I was busy (looking at my buddies new baseball cards) and that I would go with him tomorrow.

I never went tomorrow, he died on my front step after his jog.

This memory still haunts me to this day.

I got an underage drinking ticket when I was 17. A bunch of us were going to a party and decided to pregame. We all thought the kid that was driving was fine to drive. Being the idiot that I am, I didn't say anything... I should have and just not gone with them. We got pulled over, he got a DUI and all of us got underage tickets.

Since than, when I go to the bars I make sure I don't drink to much, or I have a DD.

I spent a year in Hubbard High on the citys southwest side, talkabout a dump, but anyway my freshman year, i smoked weed, and me and my friends had heard that the school would give you $50 for ratting on someone with drugs, or alcohol, or shit like, that. So I was in my division, not a class, just a 15 min period where they tell you shit, and this football player came up to me, and asked me if i wanted to buy some weed, I asked him to show it to me, he had, one of those back packs with a strap across his chest, and had about 10 nicks(5bucks e/) in the straps pocket. It was some garbage, so i said no. Then i went to the main office told the assistant principal, this football player had drugs. I saw everything, they had me hide behind the door, as they brought him in, they asked me is that him? I said yea, they reached in to the straps pocket, pulled out the weed, and took his ass to jail. We were both about 15. They gave me $50, wich later that day, I spent on weed. I didnt tell anybody what i did, cuz i had snitched on someone, but the next day everybody was talkin about Kevin, that he got busted, expelled, and arrested. Man i fucked up that kids life! And i feel real bad about that. I just wanted to get sum good weed.:smh:

When me and my ex were dating... For my birthday she threw me a surprise party with all my friends at her house. It was fun and all.. when everyone left we got into a argument and I said something like "I wish you would have never thrown this party for me. Idc what u get me for my birthday, i don't want anything from you"... she cried and ran upstairs. I went up there 5 minutes later feeling like the biggest asshole ever, and we talked it through... I wish we never would have had that argument.

It is sad story that I have hard times to express my feeling on the situation. My niece was born on Aug 17, 2005 and died on Sept 06, 2006. She was born premature. I was surprised with her progress as prematue baby because she was so strong baby and reached 10 lbs by the time her due date came.

We has celebrated her first year birthday where she had a blast with her new toys and her cake the she loved so much. If we could have only known the short time, we would have with her. She was angel in my life.

My sister story on her death:
The weekend before katie past was labor day weekend and katie and her brother had a cold i took them both to the doctor to be told they had a sinus infection. Was given antibiotics and sent home katie and jacob took their meds and seemed to be getting better wednesday i dropped them off and katie seemed just very happy and content that morning to nurse and play with her toys in her bath tub, if i could have only know those last moments. I got them ready and prepared to go to school i had only just started school so they had only been at the daycare for a week when i dropped her and jacob off, it was around 3:00 i found out thru a phone call that katie had been found not breathing in her crib. Im and still devasted she was fine that morning how could something so beautiful so full of life go so quickly, she was worked on for over a hour the only sign that she was sick was a fever of 106, that im told was maybe higher, the daycare said she showed no signs of being sick other then she seemed tired and thought she even looked lethagic so put her down for a nap and when she found her 4 hours later yes 4 hours she was not breathing her death was ruled natural casues but i just dont understand how a baby can be left for so long, I guess i will always have the what ifs run thru my head but the truth comes down to katie was needed by god im so blest to have had her for the time i did i have so many wonderful memories and will always be a mommy 2 two beautiful children 1 who runs and 1 who flys

I felt failure as uncle because I regret to time more with my niece while she was still alive for short time. I had promised myself that I would spend more time with my nephew and other nieces. It has taught me lesson to spend with your loves before it is too late.

I wish I'd never struck my mom this one time when I was a teenager. We were arguing about something. She said something and I lost my temper.

Ironically, for being nice. Twice in the past 3 years to the month, I have been stabbed in the back by so called friends. The 1st time ended in March 08. The 2nd time ended in March 09. While each case is a long story, the short answer is I broke an oath to keep work and home separate. I sacrifice much as a friend, and in return expect at the least respect. Something I did not receive, but mindgames. I returned that gesture. I dont regret my actions, only giving friendship to 2 bitches who deserve nothing.
