I have the same exact story...high school bullshit is what it was for me. Even involved 2 bitches.
Mine happened in the work place. What really pissed me off the most was that fact. I didnt expect high school bullshit after high school. Then again, more disappointed that the intelligence level wasnt much different lol.

I spent a year in Hubbard High on the citys southwest side, talkabout a dump, but anyway my freshman year, i smoked weed, and me and my friends had heard that the school would give you $50 for ratting on someone with drugs, or alcohol, or shit like, that. So I was in my division, not a class, just a 15 min period where they tell you shit, and this football player came up to me, and asked me if i wanted to buy some weed, I asked him to show it to me, he had, one of those back packs with a strap across his chest, and had about 10 nicks(5bucks e/) in the straps pocket. It was some garbage, so i said no. Then i went to the main office told the assistant principal, this football player had drugs. I saw everything, they had me hide behind the door, as they brought him in, they asked me is that him? I said yea, they reached in to the straps pocket, pulled out the weed, and took his ass to jail. We were both about 15. They gave me $50, wich later that day, I spent on weed. I didnt tell anybody what i did, cuz i had snitched on someone, but the next day everybody was talkin about Kevin, that he got busted, expelled, and arrested. Man i fucked up that kids life! And i feel real bad about that. I just wanted to get sum good weed.:smh:

Kelvin Hayden and I graduated from HH in 2001.... yeah it's not the best school, but better than the surrounding public high schools.

anywho I regret making fun of a girl who had duck lips (in the special class) back in grammar school. Maybe it made me feel no insecure for not being a cool kid or something. I didn't really mean to make fun her her disability, only the way her lips looked. But yeah, I truly regret that and I hope I didn't haunt her or ruin her school experience.

Wishing my dad would die because he wouldn't let me camp out with a couple of friends. I refused to mow the lawn. He did it. He had a heart attack that night while we were at the theatre watching Airplane. Can't watch that flick to this day.

Not giving my sister the time and patience she needed. She committed suicide a few years ago.

Don't know when it happened, but at some point I chose pessimism over optimism. Fitting that I am a Bears fan.

That's my tripartite unity. My anti-trifecta.

Regret is counterproductive, but is it empirical?

Sorry for your loss Rush.

You have to share :jackson:

Yep. Your turn.

Don't really have many regrets  only thing I can think of was my car accident... I fucked up good on at one. The part that really bothers me is that my parents refused to let me pay for the damages even though I made it clear i wanted to own up to my mistake and the other thing that bothers me is that it was the day my dad got home from a month long international business trip so we were delayed getting to see him (I treasure every moment I get to spend with family because it won't last forever so it upset that I had to wait even longer) and the first thing he asked was whats new and then I of course had to tell him. Shitty feeling still bothers me to this day , other than that I don't have much.

Dated a girl in highschool, was really the first chick I ever dated where actual adult emotions where involved. She was a year older than me and we broke up when she went off to college. I didn't take it super well.

Not too longer after that I was at a party and ran into her younger sister, I ended up saying some things I wish I hadn't about my ex. To make it worse, I ended up getting back in touch with her a few years ago, after trading emails with her, she out of the blue brought up what I said about her all those years ago, and that killed any catching up that may have happened.

Pretty sure that's something I'm going to regret the rest of my life. She was a great person and honestly she was probably out of my league anyway.

Some things I've done that still bother me;

I let my youngest kid drive my Mark VIII, and she totaled it.

I sold my soul to the devil to put my brother in hell.

I sold my Apple stock at $26...so that's three choice I made that I still regret, just off the top of my head in no particular order.

I made the deal and my brother went to hell; or at least hell as I understood it at the time. Where he is now, in the after-life, is anyone's guess.

I was total turd from 18 - 21, I did things I totally regret. But I'm 36 and I've moved on and accepted those mistakes. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for those bad early life choices. I just hope my kid isn't as stubborn/hard headed as I was.

RIP to any and all that have lost loved ones.
