I watched the Golden State Warriors go from Lions-esque futility to multi-time champs, I know very well about an organizational turnaround, hence why I have no problem calling the Bears out on their shit organization.
like the warriors, the Bulls turned it around before achieving championship status, it's called growth although your point is well taken

So, growth is now the barometer of what 'great ownership looks like'?

Warriors - won championships. Bulls - won championships. Lions - may win championships but haven't won gotten the first one yet. When they win one super bowl, you can gloat to your hearts content but until then, they haven't won anything of substance in the super bowl era so it's premature to say they're what 'great ownership' looks like.

You are seeking credit for something that has not yet been done. If they win it all, congrats to them. But they haven't - yet.

And who gives a shit about what a divisional rival's message board thinks about a hypothetical scenario that may or may not happen? It's an insecurity caring what another team's fanbase thinks. Won title, don't care.

Yes, you are. This whole thread is you pumping up a 44-39-1 principal owner as an example of 'great ownership' and 'when the Lions win the super bowl' as if it's a foregone conclusion.
