They really do. They've been excusing it forever. What the team says doesn't match what the team does, believe whatever coach says. Do nothing for your QB, make excuses about how any low round offensive player is doing something.
The team is run so bad because the fans never call it out unless someone in the media says something.
This has been going on for so long the fans absolutely do get some credit for it.

I think it's time for a rebrand. New logo, new uniforms, new colors(ideally new owners, too lol). It's time to let go of the STORIED TRADITION of the Chicago Bears, because it actually means fucking nothing outside of their own building, and attempt to finally bring this team into the 2020s.

Them constantly hiring yes men and inexperienced vanilla boobs tells me they aren't trying. If you aren't willing to hire people who potentially could push back against the way you like to do things, then you are putting your ego above all else. There is a reason why the big named coaches are never hired or the guys who might cost an arm and a leg. There is a reason why they keep all contracts hush hush.

The way the McCaskeys hire is no different than the way Matt Nagy coaches. There is no give, it's all my way and they'll sink before changing that.
