There is no way Crawford and Emery can be worse this year than last. The Hawks have 7 million in cap space under the current CBA so there is definitely room for improvement on the defensive end. This team can win the Cup with a goalie like Crawford, any given sunday and all that jazz, albeit maybe a little unlikely.

This team is still relatively young and has a lot of young talent, I'm optimistic about the future of the Blackhawks (much more so then I was last year). If this team can improve it's goaltending and improve it's PP and PK, we are a legit team and I think everyone knows it. Just my 2 cents.

Not too sure we can count on that 7 mil being there much longer...

all proposed CBA deals, including the last one the players introduced lower the salary cap

In which case everyone will have less and Vancouver will be over, so it balances out
