have you been watching celtics games? cause he really isn't dominant in any sense of the word dominant. he's passable.[/QUOTE]

At the times Shaq gets into the low-post with the ball he is definitely way more dominant than Kurt Thomas.

Kurt thomas isn't dominant. I'd say shaq is a better low post player than thomas, but thomas isn't a low post player. I guess i'm criticizing your use of the word dominant. Right now i can't see shaq dominating anything other than 5th graders.

as of right now I would rather have Kurt Thomas. Simply because he can stay healthy, unlike Shaquille O'Neal. Sure he is a great post up and is a big presence. but big sexy is killing it right now.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Big Sexy has some of the best defensive hands on an nonathletic old guy that I've ever seen. Shaq has far and away the better post game and is much stronger, but Thomas has the ability to shoot outside of 5 feet. Different players entirely really, but I'll say Thomas because he's really playing well and in the flow of everything.

Shooting 66% on only 1.3 offensive rebounds and even only 3-something made FGs per game is pretty dominant for anybody. There aren't many players that you expect will make a shot with the ball in his hands more than Shaq. He's just a shell of the player he once was down there, but yep he's definitely better than Kurt Thomas down there (and that is a fair knock on Thomas since he is a C) and 5th graders.
