I won't be watching it but I wouldn't have even given it a second look had I not seen an interview with Dan Aykroyd where he gave his blessing on the movie and thought it was a great idea to have a female cast. I did a double take when he said that. Reeked of paid to say it. Can't imagine him genuinely liking a bunch of second rate cunts making a hack movie.

It was a pretty good movie. Certainly flawed but Luc Besson has made a career of making women look bad ass in films and it had pretty good concept if not all well executed.

The budget on that film was pretty small too compared to a typical 500 million movie as it was about 40 million.

Take a guess what the break even number is that has been said by Sony's own people within for this movie. A hysterical 300 million. They fucked up. There isn't a chance in hell that overseas box office numbers add up to 300 million including the total take here in the States once the run on this movie is over.
