Out of curiosity how could you tell what type of music it was without listening?

I can totally respect that. I don't like a lot of the music made with instruments, as crazy as that sounds. Almost my whole life I have listened to hip hop when younger (teens and early 20's) and more EDM type music as I got older. But I do like a lot of classical music .

Electronic music blows. Focus on music with a human, not machine element. The human element is the real essence of music

Nonsense. I've been playing guitar for nearly 30 years and I love electronic music. You should expand your mind. There's nothing natural about a guitar played electronically through an amplifier with distortion, chorus, delay, flange, compression, reverb or phasing, all of which I guarantee are featured on several of the records/8 tracks you own and love. Making music is making music, regardless of what means you use to make it.

Well written post. I happen to agree (obviously)

The above was my thought as well. Why does the tool used (or the perception of that tool) matter at all to the end result.

It doesn't. Some people are just narrow-minded and prefer to stay within their comfort zone.

I don't disagree and I have been guilty of that myself.

It is interesting because I totally misread the majority of the audience (well those that listened to the song) on this site. Figured there would be more people who liked that type of music. Perhaps because I view this as a pseudo social media site. I did also think people who liked other types of music would at least appreciate the song but i didn't think there were this many who flat out hate this type of music here.

Those two are my hype songs. Love me some trap nation on youtube.

I like that track as well. I couldn't get the first one to play though. Kept starting and stopping.

I've liked all sorts of electronic music since my high school days but as of late I have been listening to a lot of Trap and Dub-Step music.

Sorry to whom this insults but I laugh at people that say this isn't music, as if you have some authority to deem it music or not. I don't fucking care if you were a musician or not.
