Mike Kafka is my friend's cousin. That being said, the dude kind of looks like a serial killer.

Why yes.
Do you know what happens to coaches who are promoted to OC and are successful? They stay hired as OC or they're promoted to HC.
The ones you can hire with experience are hire-able because they were fired for failing.

Yes and it's about time he goes out and proves he can be a OC or DC.

toub to oc is one of the most ridiculous things ive heard around here recently. lol

who the fuck would hire a stc as a oc? what body of work is there to go off of in terms of how hed coordinate an o? oh, thats right, none.

hed basically have to start over as a position coach and move up. hes better off continuing his career as one of the best stc in the game. if that doesnt land him a hc gig nothing will because its likely a personality thing.

why not hire a dc as oc? time for them to prove they can call the other side of the ball.

He could maybe oc an A Rodgers QBd team with Hopkins, J Jones as wrs, Gronk as TE, Gurly as the RB and they would probably score some points. Other than that fantasy team there isn't a team in the league that would give him that job.

YES - Bears fans are the dumbest in sports. There are people in this very thread who want these guys to hire a fucking 60 year old special teams coach as the offensive coordinator. Dumbasses

I think Toub was an OL coach somewhere one time so here's probably ready for OC.

Mike McCoy who John Elway banished due to Elway's phenomenal job of collecting as many Mike Glennon's as possible?

Let’s try and hire the best coaching staff posible.

Let’s not try and hire former Bears or quality control guys, or have life long special teams coordinators being OCs.

It's actually not a bad idea for Toub if he really wants to get a chance for a HC job some day. I'm not sure but i would think having a OC title would help in that, but he won't be calling plays so not sure how that would work for him or if since he doesn't have that responsability that maybe he could still keep his hands on the special teams in some way.

I was reading Chief fans comments that Reid has one rule for his assistants that become HC: don't poach his staff. Unless he gives them the okay of course.

It makes some sense; Pederson only took one former Chief with him iirc.

So don't expect many more Chief connections. Nagy will have to venture out.

Personally, would like to see Mike McCoy.
