If you see a crazy Mastiff in hell don't pet him. That would be my dog and he is a killer.

I drove home through a pretty nasty stretch of rain last night. Couldn't really see much more than 10 feet in front of me.

I'm still trying to understand while people turn their damn hazards on while driving down the road when it's raining/snowing. I had 4 or 5 cars around me with them on. One was even changing lanes with them on.

I think the idea is to try to give cars around you a better visual reference... plane lights blink.... radio tower lights blink.... emergency lights blink/flash rapidly... I assume hazards in bad weather is a similar notion. Not sure it really helps though

For me, it was just a tiny bit of wind, thunder, lighting, and a down pour for awhile. As on a storm scale, pretty disappointing to me. (I have a huge love of storms).

I love a good storm as well man when a big ones rollin through I like to chillax put a buzz on and watch that's shit

That's what headlights and taillights are for. When I see a car with it's hazards on, I expect it to be stopped. If you are moving you basically have no turn signals.

IIRC, it's actually illegal to drive with your hazards on in IL.

Albuquerque finally got rain last night. Being from Chicago I have to say it feels weird to go for months with no real precipitation and somehow nags at you subconsciously. It feels like a big relief.

Ha. I keep my distance from those things.

Idk if you're from Chicago area, but I live pretty close to Plainfield and drive there frequently. Man.... Still gives me chills for some reason, when I watch a video of that tornado that hit there in '92. Parents said it was nastiest weather they ever seen

Where was this thread last Friday when entire utility poles came crashing down outside my house?.

No internet, no cable, nothing for an entire day.

So we all got drunk and shot off leftover 4th of July fireworks...:parrot:
