Really though, if we don't win this game, it will be extremely disappointing.

Well, we have our one win this year against Sporking, so hopefully we can pull off our second as well. Of course, this time, its on the road with a new coach, and a handful of different players, so who knows what will happen. We dropped a bunch of sporks at the tailgate last weekend, I wonder if that means anything.

Gettin' on the bus to go tomorrow morning, I can't wait.

Also, does a tie vote go under "wow we can't even beat SKC?" :(

Do they still share a field with the Kansas City T-Bones independent baseball team?

Nope.

We are "breaking in" their new stadium. That's why its the game of the week on ESPN2 ...and a damned Thursday night.

Right... was thinking they moved but wasn't totally sure.

Did they release Chad Ochocinco from their reserve team? Because all of a sudden he was doing Professional bull riding.

Yeah, he gone. (to steal a phrase I despise)

But he's going to be at the game Thursday night, apparently.

You should get his autograph on a football or something and sell it on ebay for a quick buck.

If anything, I'd sell it for charity. Have I mentioned I'm running the Chicago Marathon for the Fire Foundation?

No, hadn't heard. Good luck with that BTW. And that charity thing sounds like a good idea if you can get an autograph.

Ya... I saw the picture in your sig, but hadn't noticed the text below it. Is running it bringing in any money for the foundation/charity?

EDIT: never mind, your sig somewhat explains that. How much?

Whatever I raise goes straight to the charity. My goal/promise is $500. $500 may not be a lot for a charity, but if a dozen or so runners each raise $500, that's a different story.

Promise as in, if I am under $500, they bill my credit card for the rest. :/

Haha, that's some good money. Really awesome that you are doing that.

A road draw at a stadium opener isn't too bad considering we've lost the other matches at stadium openers. A clean sheet is not a bad result. Also, perhaps it's a bit revisionist, but since Frank has taken over, we have not been scored upon and we are undefeated.

Yeah, there's always a silver lining.
