Garza is a Legit All star Caliber player. I take him anyday, its the players like DeJusus, Capuano, that are NOT all star caliber and rathe see kids play over them. Doesnt that make sense?

It makes sense to a certain extent, especially if there were top prospects getting left behind.

Of course you aren't going to trade away your farm for a player like DeJesus, but he is almost certainly going to outperform a guy like Campana.

I'd rather see BJax play over DeJesus but not Colvin and Campana and I still think/hope bjax is going to play everyday.

You go ahead and look at the WAR leaders and tell me that the metric is far off. It's pretty damn accurate if you'd ask me.

If you dont like WAR that's fine but there other good metrics out there. wOBA for example is pretty much the shit for overall offensive production.

BA, RBI, and HR are just not true indicators of production when used without looking at other aspects of a players game.

I don't understand whats wrong with a guy who will give you solid production at a low price? Especially when that player has proven he can stay fairly consistent.

D3A weren't you the one supporting the Garza trade last year because Garza is proven? Now you want the unproven "kids" to play?
