Well Thomas is the sap in this situation. That fan made $20 off him, which is about 100x's the value of that jersey.

Tim Thomas, a class act thru & thru.

I had respect for Tim because he made it look easy when he was on the floor but now I don't. Forget Tim Thomas, more like bench Thomas, because that's where he's going to be in Dallas while Rose will be blowing pass his Captain Kidd.

We saved a ton of money in his buyout, besides he was pretty bad here.

I'm serious. Did you guys see what he did in the playoffs when he played for the Suns?

He wasn't as good last year but the Bulls just got him at that point. Had he been with the team the whole season they would have beat the Celtics. We lost because there were too many new pieces that still didnt quite know how to mesh.

It's a shame they broke all that up because if we kept everyone - Tim included and especially includes, we'd be in the second round this year.

But not now.

You get rid of Ben Gordon and think you can replace him with John whatever his name...you replace Tim Thomas with Generic Pargo...

We're headed straight for the lottery now.

Frankie HamBone, I swear to god you write the most ridiculous, outlandish posts!!! Everyone scores in Phoenix. Tim Thomas never did shit for us. We gave him a honest shot the second time!

That's Mr. Frankie Hambone to you, Lowenstein.

You aren't going to give him the benefit of the doubt? I'll grant you that he just paid someone to waste a Bulls shirt in the trash but will you return the favor by granting me that Thomas was only here for a minute and a half and didn't have an additional 4 1/2 months with the team most everyone else had? This includes Brad Miller too.

Had he and Miller had the luxury of being with the team all year (from training camp to Bean Town) there's no way Brad Miller misses those free throws. There's no way Tim Thomas doesn't step off that bench and score 21 a game against Boston (he does much better in the playoffs, remember).

That's why he looked so lost out there against Boston. When you are with a team for as little time as he was, you don't know all the plays. It takes months to learn those plays and he and Brad Miller were still in that phase of their transaction.

If you spent the season re-locating all your stuff from Los Angeles to New York to Chicago in just a few months with the pressures of keeping your family in tact I bet you'd miss your fair shair of shots too now wouldn't you?

If we take you and we say, "Alright, Mr. Lowenthal. Tell you what. You aren't going to work in Illnois no more. We're relocating you to Sacramento. Then two weeks later we say, "Well Mark. You're moving again. You now work in Philadelphia. You start in 2 days. You are to clean out your desk and vacate these premises before the sun goes down. Good luck."

Are you still going to be able to be on the top of your game at work? Is your overall work performance going to go up...or will it go down? You may be as sincere as you can possibly be...you would probably still work as hard as you do now...but there would be too many factors working against you.

Jet lag...weariness...getting the kids moved to schools a bunch of times...helping your wife cope with homesickness...keeping your family happy after being upfrooted not twice but thrice...fans harassing you...sports radio twerps slandering your name because you missed four shots...sitting in on all those PTA meetings and such...and coming to work with all of that?

Well...this is exactly what happened to Tim Thomas. Juuuust look at him! (Tim Thomas, standing by listening to our conversation makes an overly-sad pouty face)

(Puts arm around Thomas)

He had to do this all last year. This is what he went through. See, what I proposed to you was merely hypothetical. You aren't going to go to sleep tonight and wake up in Sacramento or in Milwaukee or some weird city and wonder what the heck is going on.

But Tim Thomas did last year.

The poor kid must have been going crazy with stress and distraction. No wonder he didn't play as well as he has in the past. A player needs time to mesh with a team no matter if it's the 1992 Dallas Mavericks or the Showtime Lakers themselves.

If he stays with Dallas this season (which he probably won't...his services are wanted all over the league) we're going to see what we can do when he isn't so distracted.

So what you got to say to that Mr. Radio Man? Huh?

All I'm saying is...if he was a Bull all year long he would have been far more productive.

lol.

Apparently we've been doing it all wrong. The reason we've been losing games is because we didn't have Jannero Pargo and his deadly shooting.

Since we finally have him we can finally go 73-9, win the title and then everyone will take off their clothes in the street and rejoice.

Jannero Pargo. Over or under 150 three's this year?

Frankie, I often wonder sometimes if your water source is spiked out there in China.

How does Thomas effect Miller's FT ability? Did you forget to take your pills this morning? When the hell did Thomas ever score 20ppg in a playoff series, let alone a season? The answer is NEVER.

Tim Thomas is mediocre at best. Maybe if he actually had any sort of work ethic whatsoever, teams wouldn't be shipping him off every other month for Lion King tickets & a bag of balls.

And Frank, Mark DID pick up & move, all the way to San Diego. And he's still at the top of his game! If I was getting paid $8mill to do my job, like your bff Tim Thomas, I'd go where ever they hell they told me to, with a smile on my face.
