Time for Stan to be an Ass!

Now the rest of the team is here If I were Stan I'd be an asshole and throw an offer sheet to Anisimov. With the 7m Richards just ate they will only be able to keep one Center. (similar to Hjarlmarsson-Niemi) last year, both Dubinsky and Anisimov are both unsigned. 3 mil for anything like 5yrs could take one of them. Rangers will have no choice and the Hawks get their Center.

If they keep Anisimov we offer sheet Dubinsky. Time to make your name Stan and get us our Center. Take a page from Wilson and go for it!

Absolutely do this ! I think Stan has done a great job so far , but still has'nt gotten another center. Is this why Frolic and Campoli are'nt signed ? He is waiting to see how much whatever center he ends up getting will cost? Is Campoli asking for way to much or right on the fringe of what Stan thinks the team can afford based on how much the newly acquired center will cost.

Good question. If I were Stan I'd be investigating ALL avenues to find a Center. And with that GIANT CONTRACT Labrichards just took, the Rangers are exactly where I'd start. The rule is there, use it.

I'm guessing Campoli, Frolik AND Stalberg are all asking too much money. Or far over what the qualifying offer 110% was. Make an offer Stan!

I've been saying to go after Dubinsky forever! He's only makin 1.85 this year and would make 3mil max in his next deal. He would fit perfectly on the 2nd line and it would give me a boner to order a Hawks Duby jersey!

BUT... usually people don't offer sheet Sather's players out of respect for whatever reason.

I only remember it being done three times. Penner, Hjarlmarsson last year and one other. So it doesn't have much to do with Sather, more so I think an unwritten rule. Well Wilson fucked that last year and opened the door.

Go do it Stan. The Rangers will only be able to keep one of them.

I agree, I hope they do. Let's see if Stan makes a name for himself and does the dreaded offer sheet.

If Stamkos ends up being in play...what would it take for the Hawks? TB isn't going to want the 4 first rounders, I'm sure they'd want NHL ready players/top prospects.

Rights to Frolik, Morin, Lalonde....and a 1st Rnd?

How sick would Stamkos be centering Kane?

Stamkos would be sick but I don't think we need another high paid star, we need the solid support guys, the 2nd tier scoring that would be provided from a good 2nd line center. I just don't want see any more cap hell

I like the idea RK. I don't like GM's pulling the offer sheet shit but it's part of the game now. I usually get concerned with killing off future trading partners by pissing off GM's. But it's Sather so I say ehf it.

I would be very happy with Dubinski on our center depth.

Toews

Dubinski

Bolland

Mayers

That's pretty. You get everything you need through the lines.

Anisimov? I don't know enough about him.

I can't even remember the last time the Hawks and Rangers had a transaction between Tallon, or Bowman so there is not much to kill off. Plus, by this time I look at offer sheets just like any other offer to a free agent, what is there for a GM to get upset about? Not being able to keep a player at below market value?

I personally think we will see Frolik, and Campoli signed before any one else. If Stalberg is even kept I don't see where he would fit in the lines, especially if Morin is healthy and they want to give him a shot to start the year.

No matter who it is I am sure Bowman will fill the #2/3 center roll, and I would love for it to be Dubinsky!

Or....offer up Hjarlmarsson/Rights to Frolik/ 1st Rnd Pick/and Prospect to NJD for Parise.

Give Parise a contract like Toews/Kane. Resign Campoli...then Sign Madden for the 4th line.
