Always thought The Dead Zone was the best adaptation of King's horror stories....Walken as the lead, and Martin Sheen as evangelical lunatic populist politician Greg Stillson.

I have a pretty good King collection but only this year both saw Dead Zone movie and listened to audiobook. Back to back I think.
Movie was good, book was better of course. Sheen's character was way more menacing in the audiobook. Narrator thing or combination with writing?
Just sounded so cold and and win at all costs type shit.
