I thought they changed the rule on getting a penalty for throwing the challenge flag on an unchangeable play

They did, he lost a time out, no yards were enforced.

But what the hell was he trying to challenge.. I don't get it. Was he trying to challenge a penalty?

I was so pissed I forgot to get them in last week before Thursday. I had put a lot of thought into the first three weeks too. Stupid Thursday night game. Is there any reason to continue on now after missing a whole week?
Yeah, maybe you can get back in it. You were doing good before. I had a real bad last 2 weeks and am only about 10 spots above you. I plan on making my move now that I've reassessed things. :smug2:

What if you have no TOs? Then yards?

I'm not sure how that works, but I think you might be thinking about the change that resulted from the lions/texans games last years were a texans TD(that actually wasn't a TD) wasn't automatically reviewed, and therefore stood, because Schwartz threw the challenge flag, which according to the rules at the time resulted in a 15 yard penalty and the otherwise automatically reviewed play no longer being reviewable.

I don't remember the play. I just remember there was a play that caused a lot of talk because of how the penalty affected the game. Very well could have been the one you describe.

Edit: Oh damn, 1,000 post! How the hell did that happen. 30 posts in my first year here and over 900 in the last 2 months :crying:
