lol not really you dont like it because it involves a black man getting unjustly accused of rape and then gets sent off and tries to escape and gets killed
i like the book and no it has nothing to do with the black man or anything
Atticus has really good insight and i like how Scout tells the story from her point of view and how it changes as she grows up and loses her innocence

a black gets accused of rape? haven't even gotten that far yet. i'm on chapter 7 or so when Boo Radley fires off the shotgun shots and Jem leaves his pants or whatever...
as the story progresses the book is becoming much better.

in 8th grade i read the outsiders, ceaser and the giver
ETA: where i go to high school we don't have summer work.

that was the best book i ever read...in my summer class last year i read of mice and men...that was all an amazing book
