That version of CCS was attempted.

It led to overmoderation and a ban list that was longer than the active poster list. The boards themselves became a stale echo chamber IMO. Posters ran to the mods with every petty grievance...to the point this place was run more like a Day Care Center for toddlers than the Internet version of a Sports Bar ownership intended.

Personally I am liking this new version, but if there are selected posters here that you feel are ruining the experience...that is the reason the "Ignore" feature was implemented in the first place. I know complaining is the easier route than taking the 2.7 seconds it takes to add a poster to your ignore list, but it really makes E-Life better for literally everybody involved.

I'm sorry to have to say it's absolutely true. I joined CCS in 2012 and this is the first time I ever thought about quitting. It's a great time to be a Chicago sports fan and there is a lot to talk about in the Bears forum. However I'm very uneasy about being associated with an institution that has any tolerance for fascism. Especially now that fascism is undeniably on the rise.

Are you talking about seeing fascism outside of B&I? It for sure runs rampant in there, but it should be contained to just there, if it bothers you stay out.
