Completely agree that Toews calls out the team after 1st period and i just read this story today on ESPN chicago...But he even said in the article that yelling and screaming at guys only works if you back that up with your own play...and he did.
I think for them to make the playoffs Toews needs to really take that vocal captains role because it will keep Kaner focused too. Young guys who allready achieved greatness so early in their carreers need to push eachother.

Jonathon Toews is the total package. Puts his all into every game, plays to win and hates to lose. Raw talent that is present on every shift in every period of every game. He expects nothing less from his team mates and leads by example.
I'm glad he got tired of players that only showed up for 20 minutes each game and coasted from there, and called out the team to go out and "play your game, you know what you need to do!" I am glad he is using the "C" he has and has found his voice to fire up his team!
