Rosy/Cumiskey would be my guess. Unless they waive Rosy and bury his contract. Rundblad is in the mix as well

Runblad is my guess for #6.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Clendening or Dahlbeck called back up.

I heard Scott has been working on his skating. Plus he can always pitch in as a 4th line winger when needed.

It sounded like Rosie was injured. If we Pronger him this season that solves a lot--if we can.

I would think Cumiskey or Runblad--I don't have too much of a problem with either. Neither may be ideal with Oduya but I like tho though of VanReimsdyk with hammer.

I can't really picture Oduya on the 3rd pairing, though... let alone Hammer. Its weird.

Prongering someone used to be hitting some in a dirty matter. Now it's got a new meaning!

I think those definitions can change. Bertuzzing and McSorelying probably won't change, but nowadays there are different cheapshotters in the limelight, while Pronger in recent memory has been LTIR'ed into oblivion. :)

Of course, but those are separate negotiations... the 8th is actually a two way

So Leddy has played almost as many minutes as TVR and Rundblad combined, has 3 points in 4 games, and is a +4. Good trade.

Stan and Q are morons.

Yep, because he was going to get that much time here in Chicago any time soon.

Who else do you trade that has A) value B) value that another team needs C) has no trade clauses or movement clauses and D) gets us under the cap?

Please tell the class because if it's anyone other than Leddy you're wrong cause they would of been sent before him.

Stan and Q get a lot of shit, but yet again they've put winning teams constantly on the ice and do well. There's not one perfect GM or coach around, and don't get me wrong I'll call them out as well when something they do is dumb like the cap situation, but trading Leddy was their only real option and they ended up getting a stud prospect Pokka to refill the farm. I hated seeing Leddy go but let's be realistic, he's a puck moving D who has improved his D play, but nothing to write home about. He's stuck behind Keith, Seabs and Hammer and none of those 3 are moving any time soon. Oduya and Hammer are a great shutdown pair. Nobody wanted Oduya or Rosy. Leddy is something other teams want, so you have to accept reality (something a lot of Blackhawks fans haven't been doing the past few years) and do what you have to.
