I don't think he'd be any happier here. There would be a logjam at SG/SF when rip is healthy again. Brewer plays minutes at SG and SF, so does Korver. We obviously already have Deng at SF and we'll have Rip at SG. I don't see many minutes for T-Mac here. Especially since he isn't a good defender..

But let's say Rip wouldn't be coming back, or wouldn't be that effective when he does come back... I guess I wouldn't HATE the idea of having T-mac off the bench if we were able to get him for cheap. Like JL3 and a 2nd hahaha.

We could've signed him multiple times. He wanted to be a Bull badly. But the feeling wasn't mutual. We're not going to make a move for T-Mac.

It would be nice to have some insurance for the playoffs, I feel you on that. T-Mac's shown flashes of his former self this year, I wouldn't be upset about bringing him in, I just know we won't.

That's why I wouldn't hate him off the bench. He can still score in stretches and can even handle the ball.

But if he isn't happy with the 17 MPG Atlanta is giving him, he won't be happy with the minutes he'd get here. He probably wouldn't play more than 12 MPG here.. if that. That's with Rip healthy of course. Even without Rip, I don't see T-Mac getting more than 13-15 MPG

Oh no, we definitely need Howard.

A player like him is a once in a lifetime opprtunity, but we have a title team without him and I'm not too keen on dismantling it for a guy who might not even sign here after a few months of play. Then we'll be stuck with Rose and not much else.

I think McGrady is stuck in the past. He doesn't realize that his level of play no longer warrants big minutes.

Tracy McGrady is disgruntled everywhere. He has matured a ton in a few years, but he's still not going to be happy until some team plays him 35+ minutes of green-light shooting a game.

So he's J.R. Smith lite without the cancerous locker room attitude?

And no knees. He's as grounded as Manute Bol in his final season.

Two years ago I would have taken him.

After the last two seasons I can see now he will be disgruntled for any team he plays for as soon as thing start to go wrong or not his way.

As far as I am concerned, he can go find a shallow grave to be disgruntled in.
