How far back could the Bears trade the #2 pick and still guarantee getting Anderson? And could the trading partner actually screw the Bears and take him or is that promise normally part of the deal.

To #3, maybe #4 if a team prefers Carter. I think it goes:

1. QB1
2. QB2
3. Anderson/Carter
4. Anderson/Carter

It's early yet and maybe another QB comes into the mix too similar to Zach Wilson last year

This. That’s about it. Even if Poles is confident that Anderson is available at #4, some other team could still trade up to #3.

I agree with the these top 4 picks. The gamble becomes if the Bears have a big preference for Carter versus Anderson and move back to #4, will someone slip into #3 and grab them. If they score out Carter and Anderson similarly, this trade down only makes sense because both positions are huge need areas and you can grab one or the other while still building up draft capital which we desperately need with the state of this roster.

Yeah the dream is trading down from #2 and still landing Anderson/Carter + an extra 1st.

The dream is actually ending up in that #2 spot when the regular season is actually over. I don't think we will unfortunately.
I know. We need to commit to the tank!

Theoretically #3 could also have huge trade value but let's just be safe and land #2.

We don't have to worry about this because the Bears are going to beat Detroit and Minny to drop out of the top ten.....

Tell me that is not a "Bears" thing to do so we can go into next season with "Momentum", even though 40-45% of the current roster won't even be here, and we will have a ton of new faces in critical roles that don't benefit from winning two meaningless games at the end of last year.....

I am just waiting for the organization to **** up real leverage so that they can feel good about themselves....

  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Illinois Fighting Illini
If both LA and the Bears finish with a 3 win season, how to you expect the Bears to have the #2 pick?
Rams picked up mayfield. They play the broncos. I think the Rams will get to 4 wins. It’s the broncos I’m worried about.

I mean coaches and players aren’t going to try to lose. Poles did the dirty work by trading away Mack, Quinn, and Roquan. I can see them maybe beating the Lions, but I don’t think they’ll win more than one more game. I expect them to lose out
