This means bye bye Nsimba Webster.. also likely will take over KR duties from Herbert since he will have a much bigger role as an RB with Monty out.

Cohen done for the year I assume. Need a PR badly. Permian probably not looking good either.

I think it may be to shore up the punt/kick returning duties.
He is pretty good at both

Nice. That is a pretty big addition. I was hoping the Bears would land him in pre-season. He is going to fit well on punt returns and with Fields as the QB.

Bears need a 3rd or 4th option at WR. He think Grant will fill that role well.

I don't mind spending 6th & 7th round picks as capital to shore up the special teams.

As others pointed out, our current PR/KR haven't been anything remarkable, and with our defensive line coming on with the sacks, I bet the Bears realize field position is going to be all that much more important.

Maybe, maybe not.

As others have stated perriman hasn't done shit yet and the other guy hasn't either. Two WR bodies just doing nothing.
4th/5th WR that doesn't play special teams is absolutely a wasted roster spot. Especially when he doesn't contribute to the offense either.
