Lol at this. We’ve all seen the Foles show many times. He’s good for one game and then shits the bed during regular season.

Foles wasn’t saving anyones job. Foles isn’t good.
Foles is better than Dalton though. Remember he is a smart dude. He knew he was dealing with an idiot (Nagy).

Whoever suggested that trade proposal should find a new line of work.

The dumbest part of it is including Roquan.

No thanks.

Not the three draft picks we also have to include.....or the 30+ mil salary we get to inherit?

Its going to take 1-2 seasons to retool this team, dont want to spend assets for Wilson to be an over the hill vet on a rebuilding team.

I said it at the time, the Seahawks not the bears would regret that trade not happening. Bears dodged a bullet idiot Pace almost set us back for years. No chance of this trade happening I mean zero unless they are adding 3 1sts.

I of course prefer Fields and Q and draft pics. But I have to say.. after years and years of hopium.... I wouldnt be upset if some sort of trade was worked out for Russ. I'll never be upset about having a great QB regardless. Even if we didnt win the trade so to speak. Simply due to the quite likely possibility that Fields doesnt pan out as we hope. I cant be too upset to have the sure thing. One thing I will disagree with though.. is saying Russ is "serviceable" and only 2 years left. That's BS. I guess Green Bay should have gotten rid of Rodgers 2 years ago too.

The Titans should be the ones to trade as much as needed for Wilson. Tannehill is more of a dead weight anchor for his championship level team than Jimmy G has been, and Seattle should want to ship him out of the conference.

Idk if Wilson would try to veto that with Nashville being a smaller market, but that'd be a great landing spot for him.

Let's see, trade one of our better young defenders and a 22 year old Justin Fields for a 33 year old Russell Wilson. Isn't the goal supposed to be to get younger?

This thread is stupid.

+1 for effort though. it's better than gushing over Harbaugh not being interviewed by/coming to the Bears in spite of the obvious fact they already hired a new head coach or that thing with Brian Flores which has zero relevance to the Bears at all. or the usual beatoff sessions to shit people say on Twitter.

oh wait.

Exactly. Its just a brief discourse.. whether its worth making a trade. Obviously if Justin works out, any trade is horrible. The FACT is, Justin has at best, a 50% chance of being very good. Im not saying make this trade. I guess my OP comment gave that impression. It was more to get reactions. Im more excited about the prospect of Fields turning into all we hope. Low salary, see what new GM can turn out with our picks etc. But after decades of futility at QB.. i wouldnt rip my dong off if Bears nabbed Russ. That's six years of a functional offense and enjoyable team. Maybe cant win SB.. but Fields could EASILY be a failure. So thats another 6 years trying to get this position right. (aka Mitch T years then Fields).
