Trade Rumor involving the Bulls & Rockets

I would do this deal. The Bulls get another player on the perimeter that can create his own offense, and he's a stud from three point range. I like the fact that Battier would come off the books after this season, and Patterson gives the team a stronger body at the four compared to Gibson.

On the unfortunate side, I think Melo will agree to sign with the Nets before the Rockets pull the trigger on this deal. Both highly unlikely.

Martin never strikes me as a good player. Just better than the rest of his team....and he's been on two SHITTY teams...

he's not great on defense, but martin's always been a good player on offense. he's extremely efficient. if he could stay healthy, he'd be stunning. sadly generating that many fouls and being that skinny, is going to take a toll on you. he's definitely a top ten sg. kobe, wade, ginobli, JJ, then there's jackson, martin, ellis, and evans. I'm not sure if roy is on anyone's list anymore.

Well...Martin is a good player, no doubt about that. He is better than any guard on the team except Rose by quite a sizable margin...and he can get you 40 on any given night...

that's not saying much.

I don't know. I have a cousin in Tulsa, OK that sent me a text with that trade rumor. He never gave me the station. He was flipping thru & caught the convo about it. Then later in the day told me. So some station out southwest. It wasn't a local one or he would have mentioned it.

Although I would prefer if we take DENG out the trade and they take Battiae out... Unless we can slip Brewer in their instead of Deng...
