I wanted him back with the Pacers but for some reason we didnt want him back kind of sucks he was willing to take less to stay also and we choose to not even offer a contract

Why not trade Rip Hamilton for Ray.....
I like Rip and all, but at there age, ray allen is better in all catagories and neither of them will be around for more than 2 seasons anyway....ray would be perrfect in chicago.....And Rip would be kind of sort of good for boston, not counting the games he sits out...

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  2. Oakland Raiders
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
We already have someone like him on the roster who's 10x's better and his name is Taj Gibson.

I think Gibson is better too. McRoberts has more range though and a bigger body.

I just thought he could have been a pretty nice player to have on the bench. You never know when Boozer is going to get injured, and we could have used him at C sometimes in certain situations if we needed some points.

To quote Bleacherbum, who's watched him ALOT more than we have, "he's a thug" & "dirty player". I don't want that anywhere near this team.

He isnt a thug I am making a joke about all the people on this board who called him a dirty player when he really is not. He is just the type of player you hate when he is on the other team but love when he is on your team.

Mcroberts has a unique skill set that not many bigs have he is a great passer and can run an offense if needed ala Lamar Odom(he isnt nearly as skilled yet though) and does all the little things that helps the team win. He is the perfect fit with Kobe because he doesnt take away Kobe's shots LOL.

I would of loved to have Mcroberts back to play backup C and PF Lou Amunson is really bad and Jeff Foster is broken down.

He is the farthest thing from a thug he is a good dude off the court. This comes from a guy who desmises him because of where he went to HS a real stuck up area he grew up in. He was really stuck up until being humbled at Duke.

He has been injured as of late but he should be back tonight.
