Angels get:
1B Derrek Lee

Statia: Currently Rehabbing with the Tempe Angels. Looked good in 4 games with AA Arkansas, but has struggled 30 games in AAA, batting a mere .260. Diaz has too struggled in AAA.

My stand: We should get more than that for D-Lee.

Trade 2-Cubs/Red Sox:

Cubs get:
3B Ryan Chang

Red Sox get:
1B/OF Xavier Nady

Chang has looked really good with AA Portland batting .306 with 4 HR in 63 games. However, not much power for a 3B. But, because of the lack of power, and how loaded the BoSox's farm system is, the BoSox may agree. If we can do it, then just do it.

Oliver looks pretty good, but I'd hope we'd get a low-level prospect too if we made a deal like this.

I'm the same on that but I was thinking if the Mets strike out on Lee and Oswalt and the Braves add another pitcher. And they still want to win, they might force th issue. But I was thinking the same thing. Maybe that is just hope.

Yeah I did see that but do you think the Cubs can get more for a RP, and slot starter. It would be hard but as the pitchers become traded, they probably can get more as teams will be desperate.

I would want to eat less but there has been reports the Cubs will eat half and Bos would like that too. Kalish has suck but he has been good in the minors. Before Triple A.

Well Theriot is not shit, just to let you know. That trade could work, Oliver is a mid level prospect.
