Good young QB, good line, excellent TE, ST and defense, and an ass ton of picks. Smart coach too. If SF is managed well, they could be the Patriots of the next decade (by that I don't mean specifically winning three Superbowls, but rather being consistently competitive adn good every year for a long time).

Only way I see this meathead coming here is to ride the bench. As for Hester, no team wants him and his diva attitude. I hope they release that way he can end up signing with Green Bay and we watch Rodger's stats fall with that QB killer.

Rodgers already has his Devin Hester. It's name is Randall Cobb. If he was on the Bears, he would be another "special teams smurf" and Cutler would still have "no weapons".

Except in college Cobb actually played every offensive position so he's familiar with offense and led the SEC in all purpose yards as opposed to Devin who was a CB trying to convert. Just because they're both fast doesn't make them both great football players. But Cutler Bash away

This is such a misconception. You still need a strong arm for a WCO; quick routes = less separation than longer routes = precise, timely throws that need to arrive before the defense can react / jump the throw. Otherwise every smart QB with a weak arm would be Peyton Manning.

By big arm I mean zip on the intermediate to longer passes. Smith has already proven that he can run a short passing game efficiently.

Jets may have interest in Brady Quinn
On ESPN's "NFL32" show, Chris Mortensen mentioned the possibility of the Jets signing free-agent QB Brady Quinn. According to Rich Cimini of ESPN New York it makes sense.
Quinn and new QBs coach David Lee have a strong relationship. Lee never formally coached Quinn, but he has tutored him in recent years. During the 2011 lockout, Quinn attended Peyton and Eli Manning's quarterback camp and worked under Lee, the Ole Miss offensive coordinator at the time.
"I'm going to tell you this right now: Brady Quinn has a stronger arm than both the Manning brothers," Lee told the Denver Post in 2011. "No question. I worked them all out."
Quinn, a former first-round pick, has told friends he believes Lee is the best teacher he's ever been around. Word has it that Lee, during his job interview last year with the Jets, spoke highly of Quinn. Lee went to the Bills, but his recommendation may have stuck. When the Jets were looking for a backup last March, they arranged a visit for Quinn.
As it turned out, Quinn never made it to Florham Park because the Jets ended up signing Drew Stanton, who was traded a week later when Tim Tebow arrived.
Obviously, Quinn hasn't met career expectations. He's 4-16 as a starter, with 12 touchdowns and 17 interceptions with the Browns, Broncos and Chiefs.
