If Fields was playing lights out and not missing a beat, I don’t think that whole “promise” thing would be a factor. Cracks me up how much you are into that.
It’s not that I support it, it’s because I think Pace would keep to his word that much

Like I just mentioned though, if Fields was playing light out, I don’t think Nagy or Pace would hold him back because of what Pace said. But Fields isn’t there yet and that’s ok.

Yeah they would still hold him back .

Pace is overcompensating for the Mitch/Glennon situation and Nagy is overcompensating because of what happened last year with Foles .

While I don’t mind this, Dalton doesn’t have the physical gifts to survive behind this line

No but he has the ability to get the ball out quick even if it is incomplete. He also is unlikely to fail to account for a blitz on the right side and almost get himself killed like Fields did.

Does anyone else think it's weird how the national media decided they want to be outraged on behalf of Bears fans to push for Fields to see the field? After years of disrespect from the likes of Stephen A and Colin Cowherd, etc. suddenly they're our biggest advocates? I kinda wish they'd shut up

No. They don't want to watch Dalton play either.

Not in the way I imagine you are using the term. But you can develop theories based on mathematical relationships that postulate that before the Big Bang that created this Universe, there was a Big Crunch where a previous universe expanded until it collapsed upon itself creating a singularity that then caused the Big Bang that created this universe. And thus this universe will expand before collapsing into its own singularity and then giving birth to a new universe.

The mathematics of a rapidly expanding universe is such that if run the mathematics in reverse, you reach a point in time billions of years ago where all the matter in the universe was encompassed within a singularity. Now of course, just because something is mathematically possible does not mean it physically exists in this universe but faith does not guide the scientist so much as mathematics and observations do.
Sounds in tune with nature. Even taking a breath.

If you look at the yogic traditions and many others they point to the fact that we are all god - or everything at once and also our separate fragile egos. The story goes that God fragmented into all these sperate parts for the sake of experience. That seems to fit in line with the big bang theory.
Yoga is simply the realization of being everything. Where your awareness is not limited to your physical body but encompasses everything Having taken 5meo DMT a couple times I have experienced this There are no words to describe it. But it's very real.
It's interesting to see western science start to catch up to the nature of reality that has been known by many is different cultures for 100s or 1000s of years.

Interesting. But for a species that can't even begin to imagine the shape of the cosmos (is it finite or infinite and are either possible?) we seem to be a long way from really understanding how it began.
Western science is. Mystics and shamans have understood for a long time. There is an overriding arrogance that unless we can price something with our current level of understanding that it's nonsense. This adds to a cultural conditioning that keeps people ignorant and in the dark and focused on physical things and in return consumerism.

in reality we're all impatient and been waiting our entire lives for a QB like Fields on the Bears. but the right decision to give Justin best chance to succeed is giving him a little more time. i don't think he's quite where we think in terms of reading defenses yet. which is normal. Manning/Brady/Brees/Rodgers....none of those guys could read NFL defenses right away either. nobody can. it's new.

so giving Fields until Week 3 or 4 then he's had almost 2 months of practice and been through a few gameday experiences and see how plays are getting in and out and what defenses are doing and watch film with Andy/Nick.

we all want to see Fields soon, but we all know giving Justin a little more time is probly for best long term.
