Unbelievable lazy game by the Hawks. Outworked and out-skated. Great game by Lank and a couple others thats it.

Preds just a few weeks ago were about to go into sell mode. That is no longer the case <courtesy of the hawks recent slide> they have caught up and are in position to overtake the Hawks for the 4th and last playoff spot.
These are all meaningful games here and good experience for the young roster.

Slow out the gate, the team looked uninspired, very sloppy, players out of position, if not for Lank it would of been a total blowout.
2 issues JC has to find a way to deal with, 1# Kubalik is being wasted on the third line, he has all the right intangibles to be a bonafide goal scorer, out of all players the loss of Toews has impacted his game overall, #2 if Kane and the Cat are of, the result majority of the time is a loss, not enough scoring to be had, which is why Kubalik needs to find his game and become more of a weapon as we saw last year.
Lets hope for a better outcome tonight, Go Hawks ago!!!

Last night would be a great film to show someone as an example of one team absolutely aware of the implications of a game versus an opponent ahead of them for a playoff spot, and that team approaching the same game with the attitude that they could just show up and win.

Better then yesterday some bad puck luck, gotta stop that pass in the middle but played smarter and worked a little harder. 20 game run to the end. no points in series someone else start off.
