Lol, after watching the vid, the quote of the day from Marc is this:

"Well, Friend, that's a loaded question."

Lol, he said it a couple times during the press conference too.

Welcome to the Chicago media, right? Where every question comes with a motive.

more awesome!
You know, I hate to be cynical but I have to wonder about locker room tension at this point. We know many players were Lovie loyalists and I imagine many of them harbor resentment towards certain players on the team who, in their eyes, sabotaged the season and indirectly got their beloved coaching staff fired. We've already gotten a little hint of tension on the sidelines when Marshal was reportedly yelling at Forte. We had D.J. Moore question Cutler to the media and subsequently get doghoused.

If you were Urlacher or Tillman or Briggs, how would you feel right now?
Who would you say sabotaged the season? That would mean that they purposefully went out there and played like shit just to get Lovie fired. That would be hard to do considering how well you have to play to earn a starting spot.

I guess we can now say Hester wasn't giving it his all, based on his interviews where he clearly states that he's lost interest in football. You also have Forte who maybe harbored some resentment about his contract. I don't think Hester and Forte were out to get Lovie fired.

Lovie accepted mediocrity, thus the whole team at some point felt that they were doing good enough.
The reality is alot different, there was way too much potential for us to consistently miss the playoffs.
Not finding a competent offensive mind to compliment his good defenses was his downfall.
A change had to be made, a FULL , culture change.
This will be good for the Bears.

Why? If you're loyal to the previous failed regime, you will probably find yourself on a different team, likely in a worse situation, and still no Lovie. Marshall doesn't give a shit about Lovie, and he's apparently already bout in to Trestman. Moore is gone anyway. Urlacher, it's not a foregone conslusion he will be back either. Tillman doesn't seem like the type to cause a problem, even though I'm sure he was loyal to Lovie. Briggs only cares about himself. What are you worried about again?
