LOL Paul.
And today's Trib full page cover - Start you're March Madness picks
This didn't bother me, only happens once a year and Hawks are on page 3.
However, I don't expect this to last should ND advance. For a school closer to Detroit, they certainly take up their fair share of Trib coverage.
Notre Dame is 90 minutes from Chicago and 3 hours from Detroit, plus they have a graduate school in Chicago.
Many alumni choose to move to Chicago after graduation. The other draw is it being a catholic school and Chicago has a huge population of Catholics.
Yeah... but it's more of a shithole like detroit.... hiyo... (yeah I know it's not, but in my head it is, **** them racist, rapist, silver spooned bitches)

Because I'm smaaaarrtThis coming from someone raised in Elkhart county, then chose to go to Purdue.
I wish there was a college in Logansport, because everything in that town is terrible.

I'd rather have no coverage than Rosebloom
One cannot discount this b/c should some local college such as DePaul ever return to glory, I would expect them to have the front page.
Even so, a local kid at Duke before the tourney even begins shouldn't be relegating the Hawks to page 7 after a solid road win.
Regarding this topic is one of the few things a "mainstream" radio guy like Dan Bernstein gets right about hockey and media coverage and the fans reaction to it:
"WHY AREN'T YOU TALKIN HAWKEY! DONCHA SEE WHAT KINDA TEAM WE GOT GOING HERE!111!"
covers hockey
"STOP TALKIN' HAWKEY! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT C'HER TALKIN ABOUT!!! YOU DON'T GET IT!!"
Gotta be one or the other, can't be both.

Detroit is more than twice as far away than Chicago is
Catch up already, we're on to making fun of logansport... haha
