All things considered i thought season one's ending sucked

The finale was the weakest episode of the season, not bad enough to keep it from being an amazing show.

I really don't understand the Jessica Chastain hate. Did anyone think season one was going to be great because of the cast? Moot point now but she is a very good actress.

I have faith in Pizzolatto, unless he reunites the cast of Everybody Loves Raymond for season two or some other crazy shit, I assume next season will be great.

I agree the last episode, although good, left me a little be dissapointed in the sense of, "That's it!?". It's partially because the way the show just paced and moved was so damn awesome. The whole Louisiana Bayou backwoods thing really added a creepy vibe that I haven't found in a television show before.

That episode when he goes with the biker gang into that neighborhood.. My god that was fantastic filmmaking.


This is when I knew I was in for a treat with a southern gothic drama.
