Just looked at my guide and, unless there's a mistake, it's only an hour finale. The score misleads once again.

. The 2 hour finale was very quickly debunked. Jay was wrong. They knew and told.everyone he was wrong.

Anyone else know what was up with the killer switching accents randomly?

When Rust was stalking the killer and he entered the room with the hole in the ceiling and the sunlight coming thru (Carcosa Room). Just before the killer jumped Rust he envisioned a huge twister in the night sky..What was the significance of that?

Rus has those weird visions and sometimes at inopportune times. It was clearly a means of distraction which allowed Childress to get the jump on him.

I kind of figured that was it..It was Rusts imagination distracting him.

Actually, I don't think it was his imagination really. I think if was a side effect of doing too many drugs as a NARC. He talked about it in an earlier episode and he had another 'vision' type thing in the sky when they were driving in the car.

I'll have to sit down and watch it again in the coming months. Very layered dialogue. Just a fantastic series all-around.
