We shouldve done it sooner. People seem to be forgetting that rondo also tripped kirk on a fastbreak and that resulted in stitches. I think that the foul was definitely a flagrant, but even if it wasnt we need to put rondo on his butt. Rondo has scored way too many points in the paint and we need to make sure that we foul him hard. Im not advocating a tit-for-tat try to hurt him flagrant foul, but a hard foul.

Also, the no-call is not why we lost. We deserved to lose. We had an 11 point lead with 9 minutes left and after it was cut to I believe 6, VDN decided to go small. Doesnt he know that its a gimmicky lineup? I mean, it worked in the 1st half and in game 4 (when perkins was fouled out), but Boston has a defensive genius as an assistant coach...why would vinny think that he couldnt adjust? Moreover, thats not even the important question. Why was vdn worried about spreading the floor when we are up in the 4th quarter. Its almost as if he said to himself..are we really up enough? I mean, we're up 6 with about 5 minutes left and thats not enough. We need to focus on spreading the score so we can extend the lead instead of focusing on rebounding and defense. I know players made stupid decisions, but why would vdn decide to focus on playing a more effective offense instead of getting stops and rebounds. Sometimes I want the bulls to lose because I cant stand watching this man coach anymore...I just get too angry (of course, I dont really want the bulls to lose).

Very good points. I doubt there are many on this board that feel the no call determined the game. I certainly don't.

Not doubling Pierce when Allen fouled out was the worst decision VDN has made thus far this season. It's obvious to anyone who has watched this series or even Pierce throughout his career that he is one of the better clutch players in the NBA. And he beats people consistently with the same shot: FT line extended fade away. Did it at the end of regulation and did it 3x's in a row in OT. I put most of the blame for the outcome on VDN, with some set aside for Rose, who's TO's in the 4th quarter gave the C's life when they were pinned down.

But nothing washes the taste of sour grapes out like 20pt drubbing of the C's at the UC.
