Crys is this accurate for all these TVFrog devices?

Sadly, if it can't be code audited independently to confirm, I would say that is true for all devices in general to varying degrees.

What makes TVFrog stand out from a trust standpoint is that Kodi's official maintainers cut off support at Android 5 and TV Frog claims Android 4.4. So in this case, I would say that's more of a dead giveaway. It's not like the work to polish a platform and interface under ONE version of android wouldn't be hard to update to newer versions. So the fact they are stuck on anything older than 6(which still is still maintained) means they really polished the spyware structure to be unnoticeable and newer versions of android fixed those exploits.

ive been using kodi for about a year now.... i use it on my phone to cast to the tv via chromecast... works well.. downside to kodi on me phone and a cheap tablet we bought just to use for kodi are the battery lives.. kodi keeps the casting device screen on during the cast. im not sure if there are options to to let it cast in semi sleep mode like netflix does. idk i dont really use it much.. its for the kid and wife.. i dont watch much tv tv... but i keep them plugged in while streaming long movies.

i may buy another chromecast for our tv in the small living room.. right now its got a telstra tv box that came free with our internet plan.. its locked.. so no kodi.. but it has all the other big apps pre installed... i think there is a mirror option on it.. but i dont mess with it much.. i would have replaced it already but it came preinstalled with all the local aus channel apps and for some reason they work better on that box than they do on through their downloadable android apps.. idk y..

i do pay for netflix.. due to isp speeds here, its more reliable.. with kodi, sometimes i gotta go through 5-10 links to find a decent stream for our shitty internet speeds.. but netflix is cheap enough.. i think we pay 10 bucks a month for 2 devices.. between kodi, all the apps on our free box and kodi.. we got content out the ying yang...
if our internet was faster.. id probably get rid of netflix..
