No kidding. I went through the training segment, which shows you the controls. There's no way I'd be able to remember all those. I really think I'm gonna have to pass on this game. It'll take a lot of dedication to get into it, and I don't have the time. I'll keep playing, maybe my opinion will change, who knows.

I'll have to rent the game to see if I want to get it or not.

This game was originally supposed to be a arcade game. Graphics sure look it a arcade game, and not a retail game.

First reviewhttp://blastreviews.com/twisted-metal-review.php

Graphics
Twisted Metal has been developed with 720p resolution, even though it supports an output of 1080p. The developer has done enough to give you an HDR experience with lots of textures, art content and shaders. Even with an existing high-quality graphics experience, there are still further efforts going on to improve the quality 7.0

Sound
Twisted Metal is made to rock your PS3 through the roof. Where Eat Sleep Play has kept the graphics to an average level, it seems they have transferred all the fire into the sound department. The quality of sound is simply great. The roaring machine guns, the missiles cruising past you and the explosions will really put you in a battlefield and will make you jump out of your seat. 8.0

Gameplay
Twisted Metal is making a return to its gritty styled past bringing back the classic characters like Mr. Grimm and Sweet Tooth. Twisted Metal is all about control and firepower, and Sony has ensured that you are going to get the best in the business. Your arsenal has expanded further and you are going to be one super-power with a wide range of weapons, missiles and machine guns to choose from. 8.5

Lasting Appeal
When it comes to Twisted Metal, the longest running PlayStation series in the game world, gamers are always looking forward to the next installment. The rounds in the eighth installment keep you glued to the console. 7.5

Overall
The latest installment of Twisted Metal is a delight for you if you have played the previous versions. Even if you have not played the game earlier, this car combat furry is going to make you feel why you didn’t play it so long. The graphics is gripping and is simply great for your PS3. Upgrading the difficulty level has helped Sony to further improve the fun-factor and thrill in this game. This game is a MUST buy. What are you waiting? Buy Twisted Metal now! 8.0

8/10 Not Bad

Twisted Metal Review: Car Combat's Explosive Return - Twisted Metal - PlayStation 3 - www.GameInformer.com

Concept:
Bring vehicular carnage back to consoles

Graphics:Massive maps, flashy attacks, and destructible environments look great, and everything moves at blistering speed

Sound:White Zombie, NWA, and Sammy Hagar fit the onscreen action perfectly

Playability:Classic controls meet smart tweaks to make this the best-controlling game in the genre

Entertainment:Slightly disappointing detours aside, it’s hard to play this game without a smile on your face

Replay:Moderate

8.5/10 Overall

It's getting much better reviews than I thought it would after playing the demo. I had visions of Duke Nukem Forever type reviews. Glad to see it's getting reviews. Apparently I just suck ass at the game.

Twisted Metal Review - PlayStation 3 Review at IGN

7.0 Presentation
Interesting stories suffer from plot holes. Interface works well and Twisted Metal runs smoothly overall.

8.5 Graphics

Nice car models and well-designed stages make Twisted Metal a chaotic treat. Certain special effects, like missile smoke, bring this grimy world to life.

8.5 Sound

Fun soundtrack that fits with the eccentric universe of the Twisted Metal series. Solid voice-over work.

9.0 Gameplay

Thoughtful, exhilarating annihilation. Great single-player campaign and superb multiplayer support. Annoying auto-lock system.

8.0 Lasting Appeal
Although the campaign goes by fast, multiplayer and a supportive community will help Twisted Metal last. Some insane unlocks will also keep the devoted busy.

9.0
