Or bored and fucking around. Killing time before I go watch my Grandkids. Have them today and tomorrow. Watching football and holding a 6 mo old boy that is named after you is very cool.

Just making sure. This board becomes insane when we lose

I'll give you 05 despite the fact that he was terrible but to try to give a benched QB credit is stupid.
Yea, except he wasn't paying bad when he was benched, Denver had lost its damn mind for Tebow mania. I lived there at the time and it was utterly ridiculous.

Bears aren't that far away. i heard people saying 3-5 year rebuild. lol, football teams who say that are just teams that haven't found a QB for 3-5 years. The lifecycle of the average player is 3-5 years, the rebuild will be evident by next year if they draft right.

The Raiders have put 2 very good drafts together and had a good size free agent budget.

I hope we are in the same place in 2017 that they are now, young, exciting and improving.

Angelo seemed to believe that just getting a QB would make everything better. He still would have ignored the giant holes everywhere else on offense

What?
Olsen in 2007 was supposed to be a great pick up. one very good receiving TE. (they also reached for wolfe hoping for a sproles)
But, WR, rb, and ol was a problem....so,
2008, They tried Hester... it wound up being a failure, but they tried. They went offense with the first 3 picks, Williams, Forte, and Benntt
.... but WR was still an issue....
2009- Wasnt much wiggle room given the trade, But they brought in Knox who might have been good. They picked Iglesias with their second pick.
... but protection was an issue....
2010- They bring in Manumaleuna to help with protection, as well as taylor for a between the tackles guy, and webb got a shot.
... But WR and ol was still an issue....
2011- they bring in former first rounder williams at wr, Bring in Barber to replace Taylor, as well as getting Carimi with their first pick.

They tried and failed in a lot of respects- but they absolutely did not ignore the offense. How many picks did you want them to waste beyond what they did?

Dont get me wrong, i agreed the Jay-trade didnt kill the Bears, it was the lack of good OL picks. Jay wins with lots of time; thats something. I'm just saying Jay cost us two 1sts & Orton, not a first and a third beyond what the Bears would have used trying to find a new QB. Just my opinion.

I know, CW and Carimi helped so much. Obviously I'm joking but to be fair Kyle with more time is still Kyle. It's not like we could have had a better QB and those picks.

Yup. They were just bad at it and long before Jay got here.
