Dunn ftw. I used to have a vinal record of the "RKO Allstars," which was him and if memory serves, some of the guys from The Band.

Dunn ftw. I used to have a vinal record of the "RKO Allstars," which was him and if memory serves, some of the guys from The Band.

That might have been Levon Helm & the RCO All-Stars. It was Levon playing with the remaining members of Booker T and the MG's (Dunn, Steve Cropper and Booker T. Jones). Al Jackson Jr. (the MG's drummer) had been murdered a few years earlier, so Levon replaces him. It's also got Paul Butterfield, Dr. John and Garth Hudson (also from the band) on it.
