Unlike Shane Waldron, Ben Johnson screamed at Caleb Williams to (expletive) figure it out.

Now go take a look at Caleb's first half stats and get back to me.

Why are we only looking at first half stats?

You know what no one ever does? Looks at a quarterbacks stats 5 years later and asks “I wonder how many of those stats came in the first half.”

That’s a dumb statement.

LMAO, Goff played in 7 games to Caleb's 17 you dolt.

Nice so lets have him play a full 17 and let him play the full 17. He throws for:

2645 yards on a 54% completion percentage 12TD's 17INT with an amazing 5.3 yards per attempt and 0 wins

Excellent rookie year.

Now go take a look at Caleb's first half stats and get back to me.

61.5% completion, 6.6YPA , 6 TD's, 2INT's and 1.6k yards

Somehow calebs shitty first halves are better than jared goff playing half a season.

Ohh yea, caled also added like 260 yards on the ground, while the least physically gifted QB in the NFL had a whopping 16

Caleb minus "garbage time" stats still heavily outplayed whatever the **** jared goff was as a rookie. Also , I didnt know leading comebacks in games you almost won is garbage time. Guess we need to inform the nfl of that ruling

If McVay thought he could win a SB with Goff, he would not have traded 2 1st round picks, a 3rd, and Goff to the Lions for Stafford.

I don't think Goff is mediocre, but I think it's obvious by now that while you can win some games with him, he is not going to be the reason a team wins a SB. Goff has also been very fortunate in his career to play the majority of it for 2 of the best playcallers in the game with McVay and Johnson.
McVay got buyer’s remorse real quick after Goff got that mega contract. Patriots players were laughing at Goff in the SB and they knew he would **** it up. And **** it up he did. Detroit has to win a SB in spite of Goff and not because of Goff.

Problem with this is it is to be expected rookies improve as the year progress's dumbshit. A rookie's last seven games is almost always better than his first 7.

So anytime a team doesn’t win it’s garbage time? That’s the dumbest narrative of all time. 🤡🤡
Caleb Padford..........

Oh, maybe you forgot that?

Funny how the narrative suddenly changes when it fits your narrative.

Blah Blah Blah, Flash back to when the Rams won the SB, CCS is saying Stafford was lucky, etc etc, should have lost, etc etc. Opposing team dropped an easy pick, blah blah blah.

Now flash forward.........................

Funny how everything changes when it fits your argument.

Forgive him, he's a lions fan. His entire franchise has been garbage time his whole life
Coming from a Bears fan, who has had complete garbage at the QB position for eternity. A bears fan wouldn't know a good QB if it hit them in the face. heard all this shit before with first Trubisky, then Fields, and now Caleb.

Now, if you want to talk about generational busts, try the first two on for size.

Yeah, let's pretend that if Caleb posts stats like that in 2025 Bears fans won't be doing cartwheels in the streets.

hell, the rest of the league thinks to date, Caleb has been a big disappointment, I guess Bears fans didn't get the memo?

Now they are hoping a LIONS ex coach can straighten him out.

You'all have so much egg on your faces it would make Ommy proud.

Generation.............wtf?

Stafford has nothing to do with this conversation. Irrelevant point.

my point was that Ben Johnson has only shown an ability to get the most out of QB's that have multiple years of experience
Ben Johnson has shown an ability to win games with a qb whose only experience was being the main reason his team lost them.

Neither are Joey Harrington, but sure, go off I guess.

Crazy that the best QB you guys ever had had to leave to win a Super Bowl
