Of interesting note, early pharmaceutical corps. once marketed cannabis syrup to the public. It was sold as a cure for asthma(and many other ailments)through the Sears catalog until about 1925 without a prescription of course.

THC is an expectorant, it isn't the smoke that makes one cough but rather millions of tiny lung air sacs being dilated.

Which one cites cannabanoids as a possible treatment for cancer? I'm well aware there is research regarding the use of cannabanoids and there effect on the endocannabanoid system and potential medical uses.

One small study in humans involving the use in the treatment of recurrent gioblastoma was less than spectacular. It involved 9 patients with treatment resistent tumors, average survival time of all patients was 6 months. 2 showed mild improvement. The cannabanoid compound was safe and well tolerated.
