FUCKIN HORRIBLE

We got schooled by the worse team in the league at home, hopefully we don't bring this kind of effort on Saturday.

Was at the game today! It was my first time in section 8, but although it was fun I had trouble concentrating on the game as I was trying to learn the chants.

Game-wise some notes...

-I thought we looked good until Nyarko went down
-We had a lot of success attacking down the wings, just couldn't put away the chances
-I knew Mike MaGOD was good on the ball, but it really impressed me in person, he's silky smooth with the ball
-Duka is really good at juggling the ball
-Soumare is pretty slow, but his long striedes make for some good recovery speed
-DC had a lot of suspicious "injuries" near the end of the game, good gamesmanship by them

Overall, I thought we should have won the game if not for a couple of bounces that didn't go our way, but that's just how it goes

Soumare isn't necessarily slow, he just is really freaking relaxed out there, never shows too much urgency.

Should have been more than 4 minutes of stoppage after all those methinks.

Yeah that would be a better word to describe it, it looked like he was going half-speed at all times until he had to make a recovery.

It should have been, but I don't think I've ever seen a match get any more than 4 mins of stoppage time.

There could of been 40 minutes of stoppage time we wouldn't of came back.

I've seen some with significantly more, not counting the 40+ minutes of stoppage from some game a few weeks ago where there was a weather delay during the first half.

Wow that's crazy! Never seen anything like it... Granted the only teams I watch consistently are the USMNT and the Fire from time to time. Why didn't they just call off the game lol?

Because it was going to clear up I guess haha.

You should definitely watch the Fire more often, the team represents Chi-Town well and always provides for an exciting match, plus we could use you in the forum more often. :)

Haha I will definitely stop by here more often. I've always had a passing interest of them (and always start a career mode on FIFA with them haha), but I've been getting more and more into them this year because of my friend (and the excitement that Magee brought). And I'm liking what I see so far! It must be hard in this forum seeing as there's only like 5 people that frequent it haha, but one thing it's got going for it is that there's not the constant bitching and pointless dick measuring that accompanies the other forums.

Yes, less activity in Fire forum, but still like it a whole lot better than the Cubs Forum.

But even the Cubs forum is better than Bears lol.

I instinctively avoid the Bears forum. Sometimes IGT but don't read anything in there haha.

It's a shame too, the Bears are by far my favorite sports team. It's usually alright and pretty funny, but recently I've had to dig through so much crap to get to some good discussion. Hopefully it's just because it's preseason.
