Jerry shells out plenty for this team.

Who would you have gotten at 3b, C, and the two SPs? And whomever you get at SP means no Rodon. And you are also paying JD $32 million to be a reliever.
While it's nice to give former players opportunities, the owner is a bit too patient. His example of the Bulls is accurate. GarPax have proven to be mediocre. They aren't new. Same thing with management. Now I get that Hahn is a new guy and everyone needs to give him a few years.

ANd yet you are getting killed by how many more wins?

Seriously, why you can't enjoy your team right now is well beyond reason. By miles Cub fans are the absolute worst.

I came in to have a serious baseball discussion, but you can't look at your crappy team objectively. I am enjoying the Cubs, I'm glad they stopped doing what the Sox consistently do, go for mid-level players through FA and ignore the farm system. LOL, 3rd best team in baseball for a decade despite constantly missing the playoffs. That's classic.

I agree with you on his patience.

I disagree with the Bulls example.

The White Sox have done things differently. They have one of the top organization staffs when it comes to pitching. They have two nice offensive players in Eaton and Abreu. They have a lot of mediocre or potential guys with the rest.

Hahn is new as you said and they have commented that it's a three year plan. That was year one. And with everyone playing worse and Shark becoming Edwin Jackson they won more games and developed pitching. I'm giving Hahn another year to see another step.

Your utter lack of baseball knowledge helps fuel not disperse the Cub Fan stereotype

95-04, White Sox averaged 4.5 wins more than the Cubs per season. 3rd best team in baseball. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO. Cleveland and St. Louis, first 2 teams I looked at, had more wins than Sox as well during that span. I hope you don't actually believe this junk Brett. Plus, you're inadvertently making my point for me.

Sox averaged 81.6 wins during that 10 year period.

Hahn isn't the problem, it's Williams.

Stop being so literal. Forget it. You are the Cub Fan that really is more of a Sox hater than a Cub Fan.

You can't make a claim that a team was the 3rd best team in baseball for a 10 year span when it only won one division title and made it to the postseason once, and expect not to be called out on that stupid shit.

And no, I don't give two shits about what the Sox do. If the Cubs win more games than the Sox, but miss the playoffs, I don't go around talking about wins. In fact, I don't talk in general until Sox fans start flapping their gums about the Cubs. Sorry to burst your bubble Brett. My first couple posts about hiring former players were clearly in jest, but the one that got your panties in a bunch was an honest opinion of the White Sox organization and how they settle for middle of the road players trying to catch lightning in a bottle. You just got upset because I hit a nerve with truth about their futility.

No, you are just a Sox hater that wears a Cubs Uni in disguise. You are a fan of hatred which is what brought you in here. I'm done with this topic as it relates to you.

LOL, if you say so. How many posts have you seen from me in this forum to back up your claim? As opposed to your constant trolling of the Cubs board?

I do not troll the Cubs board. Well that's not true. But I always qualify it when I do. That's the difference.
