How about Tank + Danks (maybe both Danks if we have to) + Prospect ----> Justin Upton? Or get someone like Melky or Rasumus

A million % upgrade over Diane =). If you guys move Danks and Tanks, just try and use them to enhance your bullpen depth. Sometimes fans don't see the importance of that. You hear " Our starters can go 7 innings every night, all we need is a set-up guy and a closer" Then come August and September, when these starters arms are falling off, and they're ERA climbs, they're miffed at why. I will say this, it won't surprise me if that's all you do going forward, and to me that's a smart move, you can always add a bat at the deadline.

Melky would be nice. On 670 the score Hanley was talking about a possible move for Evan Longoria from the Rays. You add one of those two and you are definitely have one of the best line ups. Get 1 or 2 more arms for the bullpen and you should be set. But also can't forget that one of our starters will have to go to the bullpen. Maybe Noesi and use him as an occasional starter when needed on double headers. Or have Rodon in the bullpen too.

While a Longoria acquisition would be nice, what realistic pieces do we have to make the deal? Unless your talking about a " Robbing Peter to pay Paul scenario", which to me, is a detriment to the upgrades you have already made. As of now, I'd more than settle for a "Melky Way Bar"!

Who knows how much rays want? They might just want to unload. They lost their manager and bed pitcher. Got no talent. They might not want more than middle level prospect and some low prospect we never heard of

We have nothing to offer outside of Anderson. We don't have any need for the pitcher really and to me their catcher isn't worth Anderson right now.

I was wondering that. If we get Evan could Conner play LF. He has no pop but makes good contact. Evan and Melky would be sooo dreamy.....
Also Levine did say today that sox are actively inquiring about 3B players but he will not name any names because he didn't know who exactly but he said multiple sources confirmed sox activity for LF and 3B

We sure do need another starting pitcher.I certainly do not trust Noesi or Danks in the rotation. I'd still shop Alexi to the Mets, the Nationals, and the Giants.
