Was it Graham that told Nagy he was aggravated, and then Nagy told him he was going to be drafted, then his family went batshit crazy?

It was maybe a little too much "PR" for me, but there was one thing that stood out to me.

At the end Nagy was thanking the scouting department and Pace for listening to them about who they wanted, and it felt like Nagy had this "you work for me" attitude with Pace. He told Pace he needs to go take some off, almost like he was giving him permission.....

Was it just me?

Idk. I didn't really view it that way but didn't think a thanks to pace belonged in the same conversation thanking all the scouts. The scouts spend weeks at a time on the road away from their families putting in work for the team and I'm sure are paid next to nothing compared to Nagy and pace. Those two can have their bro love separately but that thank you should have been solely for those guys in the scouting department

To all the folks giving Fields grief about not being excited, I think we've learned he's a more quiet rah-rah guy. Loved his "Let's do it!"

I get so amped up for these kids when they get drafted, it literally is their dream. So nice to see people just go ecstatic.

I'd love for the same level of coverage on the UDFAs, but I'm not holding my breath.
Did you miss the part where he was in his kitchen and got the call? He and his family seemed pretty excited.

It was just the sham go-to-the-living-room-and-pretend-that-you-just-heard-that-you-were-picked-by-the-Bears moment where he wasn't "excited".

I guess he won't be the next Peyton Manning with 100s of commercials.

Really like all the rookies energy

And obviously fields seems determined and already knows who the wrong team is the packers lovee it
One thing that I was thinking is that the Larry Borom that played in college and the Larry Borom who the Bears drafted are not even close to being the same player.

And that is good, seeing that the heavy Borom did not give up many sacks playing in the SEC.

Nagy is kinda non-stop cringeworthy.

Right after drafting a guy, "You excited to be a Bear?" In the zoom meeting "I'm going to be sitting right here with this bad ass picture behind me watching y'all catching balls and scoring Tuddies all over that defense."

You could tell coach Desai had tuned him out already.

He asks him,"Ain't that right Sean...Coach Desai?"
Deasai,"That's right."
Random guy, "No it ain't"
Desai, "Nooo, Noo"

Lol yeah desai took a minute to respond too. Plus I saw someone like rolling away from the computer looking at other stuff. I felt the same about him.
