This may seem wrong, but I’m glad they didn’t score and the game ended the way it did.

If the Bears had won, knowing the clown show who runs things, Flus would still be the HC, and probably would be next season, as well.

If the bears win, still won’t change the direction of this season. At least Eberflus is gone and get to see if Brown can coach instead of eating until end of season.

Yes, he would have scored if he didn’t alter his route and slow down. That was a great deep throw by Caleb.

That play reminds me of last season’s game ending play against the Lions when Flus allowed them to comeback against us after we had a double digit 4th quarter lead. Justin Fields threw a deep pass to Tyler Scott, who also stopped running.

I wonder if he lost track of the ball. He's looking over his left shoulder, then looks over his right shoulder, and then basically stops running.

I think if he would have started with looking over his right shoulder and tracked it, he would have had a shot at it.

I think Rome made a mistake on which shoulder the ball would be thrown over. He looked inside, but with a safety on the inside, there's no way the ball should have gone there. If Rome looked outside shoulder the whole time he most likely catches that in stride.

But it needed to happen the way it did so the Bears could launch Flus into orbit.

This was it. He has a tendency to run into coverage instead of running where there are no defenders. Caleb threw a dime but Rome f’ed it up.

If he keeps running, not only does he catch the ball and score a TD, he also tramples a photographer to death and knocks himself out against a wall.

Probably, but not at all worried about Rome. He made Penix look good.

I've been wanting Flus gone, actually never wanted him back last offseason but hell no am i glad he didn't catch that for the game winning TD. To be able to win a game that way and against a division rival would have been awesome, and i also believe Flus had already lost his job before that debacle. He just might of made it another week or even through the season but would of been gone in the off season. That also would of gave Caleb even more confidence in himself to be able to win a game in the closing seconds.
