The quarterback situation in Minnesota has rapidly gone from bad (Brett Favre) to worse (Tarvaris Jackson) to possibly ugly (undecided.)
Vikings interim head coach Leslie Frazier said Tuesday Jackson’s status for Monday’s game against the Bears is “in jeopardy” because of turf toe. Frazier did not sound optimistic about Jackson and mentioned Joe Webb could get first team reps on Thursday.
Frazier also said they are looking at 8 different quarterbacks outside the organization that could possibly start the game. (Florio mentioned Patrick Ramsey is one of them.)
The most optimistic part of Frazier’s press conference was surprisingly regarding Brett Favre’s status. Frazier sounded hopeful Favre could will play again, possibly this week. An ultrasound on Favre’s shoulder and neck came up negative. Injured reserve is not currently an option for Favre.

People are saying maybe Jeff Garcia? I guess they have no faith in Joe Webb.. I understand they have no shot @ the playoffs and this is a rivalry game, but why not just start the 3rd string QB? I don't get it. Any thoughts?
