It's not that cold tonight, just a bit rainy/misty.
Plus, it's time for a one and a half month break from the board. The local objectivity brigade don't like me questioning them and I am certainly not enjoying my posts being patrolled by a bunch of posters who themselves in the past have/continue to rip on posters on this board.
This is a request which is genuine. The season for the Bears will be (already is) over by the begining of Jan. At which point I can come back without offending them or any other poster and hopefully they can also stop bringing up my posting history.
All of the mods know I am pretty harmless although I know I have let myself down a few times with certain threads and certain posters. So before I do a BearsBud maybe I just take a wee break and come back refreshed. Can't hurt can it?
Come on Nick. Don't you like other sports? Maybe you like Basketball? Or as you brits once called it, netball(still do, but with different rules and courts).
You can tell us the wise ways of the netball women, and how they manage to look so good, while our WNBA girls scare children. :thinking:
Or I can do something silly and head off to Cali for a month.

The flood of new/rookie posters that appeared because the bears suck right now and just shit on everything everywhere (midas of shit) in a state of constant rage or hysteria is just plain intolerable.
As someone that came over from CBMB, I get the irony. But at least when we flooded in, we were generally upbeat, jovial, and the camaraderie more or less balanced out the toxicity.
Thats not so with the bears board right now. The shit is nothing but a toxic cesspool in its current state. I would rather put on a headset and play LoL with the raging teenies than interact with those cunts. The fucks that have showed up have turned the shit into one of the most toxic communities I've encountered on the nets.
Yeah, this will pass and those dbags will find something else to do most likely. But still, for now it sucks. I like you guys.

Yeah. But quite honestly... if someone disappears, I spend practically no time wondering where they are or what happened, nor am I concerned if they ever come back. Pining for people to be unbanned, for a lack of better words, seems clingy.
