My favorite teams
For your consideration, and in order of which they’re listed in the poll.
First off, bearmick and Spartan. In what initially seemed like it would be the great bromance of our generation, alas, bearmick and Spartan are no more. While what they had, burned hotter than asphalt in the middle of July, there currently seems to be some frost there between them. It’s heartbreaking that they let politics come between them ?
Next, we have FirstTimer and Rory Sparrow. Quick, clever, and long timers, FT & Rory were the Joneses that all other CCS couples wanted to keep up with. How they were together, was too, how they split, amicably and maturely. That said, their breakup was still bittersweet to see. Rory has not been around for some years. I don’t know if his absence is due life away from the board, or is caused by the continual reminder of what was, now that FT is a Mod and all. No way for Rory to escape those memories, with FT’s ever visual presence. ?
And last but not least, we have HeHateMe and Grimson. Still going strong, and with no loss of passion for one another. They say “communication” is key to a long and lasting relationship. There is no lack of communication between these two…both on, and off the board. Ride or die for real! What these two have, make them, IMHO, the Bobby and Whitney of CCS. And I mean Bobby and Whitney literally, as either one of them, is absolutely willing to pull a stuck turd, from the other’s ass.
Now I, of course choose HHM and Grimson. And I admit, I saved who I consider to be the best for last…and in a nod to their love, I listed them last, because a little birdie told me that Vanessa Williams’ “Save the Best for Last” was their song ?
