Not sure how you contain him. I agree with most that the ball needs to be out before he can get to Foles.

I have zero confidence that we will be able to run the ball, but they need to do it anyway, to keep the defense honest.

I think our defense can get to Goff and rattle him.
That’s why I added the caveat..”some how”

Win or lose tonight, I can guarantee tomorrow morning people will be pissed!
If they win.... no matter how... I will not be pissed unless we lose players to injury.

Foles has to throw for 300 yards 3 TDs and the Defense needs a turnover with a couple sacks.
Not to mention stopping the run....if they give up chunks of yardage on first down....the game is over.

Yeah, I think everyone has the feeling that the Bears bubble is just waiting to collapse... Bears will probably get destroyed in the play action game tonight.
The back 7 is the least of my worries.

Im shocked people who cover the NFL professionally aren't sold on the only team who's .500 or better and hasn't scored 130 total points in 6 games. It's almost as if teams like the Bears end up being complete frauds down the stretch most of the time.

LaCanfora picked LA, so there’s a good sign for the Bears.

Well it will be when LAR starts running the ball all over us and the TE is running free down the field with Danny Trevathan caught with his pants down.
Jared Goff pantsin' the bears defense is not something i see happening. They'll make a play here and there but I highly suspect it won't be a reoccurring theme. I like the bears defense vs thier offense.

The Rams are the 10th best rushing team in the NFL. We haven’t played as good of a rushing team yet

I'm aware. I'm also aware that they have played 4 NFC east teams. The 9ers took it to their passing attack.

Before Goff's final drive (in which they were down by 15 points) complete garbage time he was 12 of 31 for 123 yards with a 10-yard touchdown pass and an end zone interception.

The book on Goff has been out for some time. Hit him early, which the bears are certainly capable of and he goes into a shell. Moreso than any other QB I can remember off hand. If they let him get comfortable then it could be a long night. I just don't see the latter being the case.

Yeah, that looms large on this defense which has to stop the run and make this team one dimensional and on the offensive side, Nick is going to have to open up the passing game so the run has a chance. A daunting task fie this Bears team. Maybe we get some great special teams play to help out.

One day Nagy will realize that the deep ball will have to be utilized to open up the run game. Throwing these short routes and quick 3 step drops is hindering the offense. He will have to run more max protect and throw deep to keep these safeties from crowding the line.
